They're gonna be like, ninety, and he'll be all, 'Hey, remember that time at the Academy when I got commended for original thinking OH WAIT.' And then Bones'll be all, 'MY GOD MAN MOVE ON', and Uhura will tell Spock he should just mindmeld with Jim and make him forget already, and Spock will be horrified that she would suggest such a misuse of mindmelding, and Bones & Uhura will be like, 'Oh, okay, MINDMELDING WHORE.' Because obviously some things don't change from 'verse to 'verse.
And awww, AOS!Spock will get there with time! He just hasn't learned to let all his awesome out yet. He has to, you know, discover the simple feeling.
